Musing

  • It’s snowing again. Well its been snowing on and off today. From the early evening until now the weather forecast is somewhere up to 8 inches. Woohoo, can’t wait to watch how the kids down the road make their snow people. And watch drivers tear up the road at top speed. It’s just one of those things you just gotta do.
  • Another day of snow.
  • Took a hike at a trail by the local college campus. It was brutal. Not only was the steep climb “breathless” but so was the view. Worth going back too.
  • I had never seen a car being plugged into a receptacle before. But the other day I did, and thought it was rather neat but weird, as the plug was clearly visible towards the back. And I even wondered if someone can easily pull it out.
  • Home church has been the norm for now on Sundays. And my grandson’s observation is this: “one thing about having church at home is that when you fall asleep no one is going to see you.”
  • At dinner one day, my grandson; during a conversation about how kids grow these days said: Between 11 to 13 “men” start growing.”  Well, that was pause for reflection, then we all bursted out laughing. His dad said: “your choice of words, son.”
